How does a free tarot reading work?

Press the draw button and a single card is selected at random from all 78 cards, then shown upright or reversed. An interpretation of that exact combination appears beside it. You can draw as many times as you like.

What does it mean when a tarot card is reversed?

A reversed card is one drawn upside down. It usually softens, blocks or turns inward the card's upright meaning rather than simply inverting it — The Sun reversed, for instance, points to a delayed or dimmed clarity rather than outright darkness.

Which tarot deck is used?

The Rider-Waite-Smith deck, illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909. The images shown are public-domain scans of that original deck, which is the most widely used tarot deck and the one most interpretations are written against.

Can I listen to the reading instead of reading it?

Yes. Every interpretation has a Listen button that plays it as speech in the language you are browsing in.

Is a tarot reading a prediction of the future?

No. Tarot is best treated as a prompt for reflection rather than a forecast. A card offers a frame for thinking about a situation you already know something about; it is entertainment and self-reflection, not advice on medical, legal or financial matters.
